The presence of community elements in the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Anniversary received praise from President Prabowo Subianto. The President advised the Indonesian police to always be present in the midst of the community and be able to feel the suffering of the people.

"The Indonesian police must be in the midst of the people, feel the suffering of the people, hear the cries of the people," explained President Prabowo in front of the ranks of the National Police leadership and invited guests.

Prabowo made this statement as a reminder that the ideals of Indonesian independence are not just to become a sovereign nation, but also a prosperous and just country. He emphasized that the police who are loved by the people are those who are able to defend the weakest and most oppressed groups.

"Our nation and state need a police force that is strong, superior, clean, and loved by the people—a police force that is among the people, defending the people, protecting the people, especially those who are the weakest, the most oppressed, and the poorest," said President Prabowo.
